JAVA DEVELOPER REQUIRED
An IIA Member company is currently looking for a Java Developer for a short-term contract beginning in the New Year. Applicants should have 2-3 years experience, preferably having had team-lead, architect or freelance roles. Experience with the Extreme-Programming methodology a plus and development style should recognise the importance of unit testing, code conventions, design patterns and the definition of component API`s. IRISH GOVERNMENT EXTENDS E-VOTING
Ireland is to extend electronic voting nationwide following a
successful trial run in seven constituencies in this year`s general
election and Nice referendum. Electronic voting will replace manual counting in all of the State`s 42 constituencies in time for the 2004 local and European elections.
